Sweet Summery Saturday

The past few days have been truly beautiful. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that summer, or at least the warmer part of spring, has finally arrived. On Saturday I decided to do a little experimentation with my tripod in the outdoor area behind my apartment building. My little point and click doesn't do very well with sunlight.

I did some shopping this weekend. I hadn't planned on spending any of my birthday money on clothes or accessories, but I was bad and bought a few things. I still have enough birthday cash left for an inexpensive bike and a few apartment things, so I don't feel too guilty about it.

Outfit:
Tank Top- Forever 21
Skirt- H&M last year
Cardigan- Target (very old)
Sandals- Forever 21

This skirt has gone into my "donate/ sell" pile several times, but I always change my mind and give it anther shot. I think I am in love with it again. We'll see if I change my mind next time I wear it.

  4. I don't know what type your point and click is, but mine was a really basic kodiak one and if you go to the "menu", or "program" on it, you can change the "exposure compensation" settings, which help with the light levels outside. (I don't know if yours has it, but you can also go to "secenes" and that can really help with light levels, depending on what you choose.) Congradulations on getting the tripod out, I'm addicated to using only mine now, it is so much easier!
I really like this skirt and it looks really good on you, so I think you should keep it! (Granted, it is high-waisted, slightly poofy and has a great pattern, so I was bias from the beggining.) :)
