Last week I saw this post where fellow Boston blogger, Hannah, from Chill Air and Perfume did some pattern mixing with stripes and plaid. I really liked her outfit and I've been meaning to wear this skirt, so I thought I'd give it a shot myself.
I wore this skirt a lot last winter, but I haven't worn it at all this year. Since I dress up all week for work I have been more likely to grab jeans on the weekend.
Outfit:
Shirt: H&M
Skirt: thrifted
Belt: Forever 21
Leggings: Target
Cardigan: Old Navy
Boots: DSW
This is so cute! I don't have any plaid but you've inspired to try mixing stripes and houndstooth :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute outfit! I just love your skirt!

way to try something new, i am still not on board with pattern mixing! eek, maybe one day. and i hear ya, i never dress up on the weekends as much as i do during the week, i am always in jeans!
ReplyDeleteShame on me! I never thought of putting stripes and plaid together and there you go and make it look awesome! (Love this pairing, I'm going to have to try it, the dark blue plaid really works with the stripes.) Very cute!
ReplyDeleteAwe, thanks for the shout-out, girl!
ReplyDeleteThis look is one of my favorites on you. That skirt is fabulous, and you already know I love me some pattern mixing ;)
