Black and white and red all over

This dress is another one of my favorites. I picked it up toward the end of the summer last year and I think I wore it once a week all through the rest of the summer and fall. It's flattering and versatile. What more could a girl want?

I rocked this ensemble to work on Tuesday and then to auditions for the Boston community production of the Vagina Monologues that I co-organize. I have been involved with the VDAY movement for a number of years. Ending violence against women and girls is a cause near and dear to my heart. I love meeting women from all backgrounds and walks of life when we come together to perform and raise lots of money for groups that benefit girls and women. We are also holding auditions this Saturday, so if you know any strong, talented women in the Boston area who may be interested, please send them my way!

Dress: H&M

  1. That's a nice pre-Valentines outfit! :) Oh would you like us to follow each other? I'd be glad to follow you :)

  2. You look so comfortable but stylish! I'm so into polka dots now! You look great!

  3. ::Applauds::

    Mostly for being involved with VDay <3 but also for rockin' the red/black/white combo (one of my favorites)

  4. First up, I am so proud of you for being involved with the fight against domestic violence, I've known far too many women in that situation and it's a huge problem up here in alaska that's just now finally being addressed. Good for you!

    Second, such a cute look! (but you always look adorable!) Such a pretty dress, it does look like it would work with anything. (Madden girl boots are great, its one of the few brands that regularly is big enouph in the calf area for me.)

    1. thanks! Madden Girl boots are the best. I have this pair in black and brown.

  5. You look great. Note to self: buy red cardigan immediately.

Thanks for reading. I would love to hear your thoughts!
