Fall Can Wait

I am not one of those bloggers that can't wait for fall. I love sweaters, boots and scarves as much as the next girl, but I also love sunshine and being able to leave the house without a jacket. In fact, Boston has been having my favorite kind of weather for the past few days. Breezy and sunny with highs in the high 70s/ low 80s and lows in the 60s. I've been taking advantage of the weather by wearing some of my summer favorites that just don't work on the really hot days. Because of its long sleeves, this dress is one of those items.

Coral is kind of my favorite color to wear right now. I loved coral and leopard together in this outfit, so I decided to wear my new flats from Target. They're so comfortable and cheap (on sale for $14!) that I might have to go back and buy them in another color. One warning- they run a bit small so go a half size up.

Outfit:
Dress: H&M  purchased in Dec.
Flats: Target
Cami: ?
Bracelets: thrifted/ vintage

Fall can wait because I really want to keep wearing sandals, breezy dresses, and denim shorts:)

  2. If summer was remotely comfortable I would be fine, but it's so unbearably hot right now! I am ready for some crisp mornings, that's all. I hate winter :(

I love the coral and leopard print together- super cute!

  4. I totally agree, the last few days in Boston have been amazing and I'm hanging on to it for as long as possible! You look so cute in coral and those shoes are adorable. I kind of want a pair for myself but I wasn't sure if they would be comfy. Since you love them so much, I might have to snatch up a pair! :)

  5. I also love sommer, but the thing is that I don't feel anymore like shopping for summer things, but neither like shopping autumns things - well I guess that's just good for my banc account ;-) I love the color of this dress, and wrap dress are so feminine!
And I love your new shoes, I'm definitely jealous that we don't have target in Germany!

  7. Ahhh, this dress looks so perfect for hot weather, and I love the color. I am officially one of those can't-wait-for-fall people. By this time of the summer, my hair is hopeless in the humidity and my favorite pair of go-to summer sandals are falling apart. I am ready for layers and tights!

  9. I agree that fall and winter can wait, I want more time before I start having to wear ten layers to stay warm! (Boots are fun, but the toes like seeing a little sunshine!) You look pretty amazing in just about any color, but I really like this and bright blue on you. I love the mix of the leopard print flats and the coral dress!

  12. Coral is one of my favorite colors too! Unlike you, I am eagerly awaiting fall, but I also enjoy these transitional days when we can wear our in-between pieces - such as your gorgeous dress!

  13. It's making me laugh how many people are pining for fall. I feel like it happens every year and people just need to let the seasons be! Anyway, coral is a vibrant, happy color and I support you loving it.

  15. Coral looks great on you!

I have to disagree, while I love the sunshine I cannot wait for fall/winter. I love layering, wearing big cozy coats, and getting ready for the holidays. It's definitely my favorite time of year :) (In December I am going to say I love summer best of all).

  16. You are preaching to the choir. I wish the summer weather would last longer, and I hate seeing all fall things out while it's still august.
