Sunday: Food Trucks and Glitter

Sunday it was nice and cool out so I finally got to wear my thrifted chambray shirt dress. I met my friend Kelly at the SoWa market. Although I love looking at the crafts and vintage stuff, the food trucks are my favorite part of SoWa. I had some delicious lobster mac and cheese from the Lobsta Love food truck and an amazing samoa cupcake from the Cupcakory truck. I might also be watching the great food truck race as I write this...

Outfit: chambray shirt dress- thrifted via Buffalo Exchange; belt- H&M; shoes and leggings- Target;

After SoWa Kelly and I chatted and gave ourselves manicures on her back porch. I found some really awesome chocolaty/ bronze colored glitter polish at CVS. I'm kind of obsessed with glittery nail polish right now. It is awesome because I am really bad at painting my own nails. With glitter polish you can't see all of my crazy mistakes!

I guess you might say being closer to 30 than 20 makes me too old for glitter polish, but I don't care!

  2. I love the nail polish, and agree that glitter is perfect for hiding mistakes. As far as age limits, I can't help you there. My birthday is Friday and I am actually talking about age for that blog, an when are we "too old" for certain things. Very interesting discussion I think!

  6. Thanks so much for stopping by ModaMama and commenting. I love the hi-lo trend too, but at first I was like you - I felt awkward about it. I'm glad I pushed through because it's one of my fav trends right now!

    Thanks again!

    Sincerely,

  8. Mmm food trucks. Yeah, I'm completely jealous of you right now, we have pretty slim pickings up here for those which is awful, I love food trucks! (One of the huge reasons I love going to Portland is all of the food trucks, I get to stuff myself silly.) This sounds like such a fun afternoon, flea market shopping and food trucks? (Although I should ask if the SoWa market is flea market!) This is such an adorable market outfit, the leggings and the cute flats make it so perfect for walking around. :)
