When I am lacking creativity I default to black. This black dress is one of my favorites. It's flattering, comfy, work appropriate, and I can change it up by layering different camis under it.

What do you reach for when you can't decide what to wear?
First of all: I love this simple but chic outfit! and when I can't decide what to wear, it depends: if I don't want to take a photo I just rewear something I already posted, and to minimize moments like you had it - I used to have them so often, horrible - I normally think about an outfit I want to wear before falling asleep the night before. that works quite good for me, did you try that?

I think everyone needs a few go-to pieces like this dress - something simple & classic that you can play around with. That dress looks great on you. And I love your brown boots!

You poor thing, style ruts are awful! (I just dug myself out of one.) :P I try to go back to my favorite clothing items and play around with them, but I defualt to dresses most of the time during a rut.
