Outfit: chambray shirt dress- thrifted via Buffalo Exchange; belt- H&M; shoes and leggings- Target; |
After SoWa Kelly and I chatted and gave ourselves manicures on her back porch. I found some really awesome chocolaty/ bronze colored glitter polish at CVS. I'm kind of obsessed with glittery nail polish right now. It is awesome because I am really bad at painting my own nails. With glitter polish you can't see all of my crazy mistakes!
I guess you might say being closer to 30 than 20 makes me too old for glitter polish, but I don't care!
Um, you are never too old for glitter. LOVE yours!

Glitter forever! Thanks. I love $2 polish from CVS
DeleteI love the nail polish, and agree that glitter is perfect for hiding mistakes. As far as age limits, I can't help you there. My birthday is Friday and I am actually talking about age for that blog, an when are we "too old" for certain things. Very interesting discussion I think!
ReplyDeleteOooh I look forward to it! Happy early birthday:)
DeleteFirst off, YEA for that awesome thrifted shirt dress! Also, I NEED to find some food trucks in my neck of the woods, that sounds AMAZING! Finally, you're NEVER too old for glittery nail polish :)
ReplyDeleteThe shirt dress is seriously one of the best finds I've had in a long time. I've been dying to wear it!
Deleteyou're never too old for glitter nail polish!! and did you say samoa cupcake????
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had an AWESOME weekend! I completely love this entire outfit! I say wear glitter til you drop! LOL
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday was pretty awesome. Glitter forever!
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by ModaMama and commenting. I love the hi-lo trend too, but at first I was like you - I felt awkward about it. I'm glad I pushed through because it's one of my fav trends right now!
ReplyDeleteThanks again!
Sincerely,
Joanna

Mmm food trucks. Yeah, I'm completely jealous of you right now, we have pretty slim pickings up here for those which is awful, I love food trucks! (One of the huge reasons I love going to Portland is all of the food trucks, I get to stuff myself silly.) This sounds like such a fun afternoon, flea market shopping and food trucks? (Although I should ask if the SoWa market is flea market!) This is such an adorable market outfit, the leggings and the cute flats make it so perfect for walking around. :)
